Asphalt / Paving Foreman

The Asphalt / Paving Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and managing asphalt plant operations on our heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paving, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities include :

• Supervise and coordinate daily asphalt paving operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Lead and manage a crew of operators, laborers, and truck drivers to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Plan and schedule work activities, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and manpower allocation.
• Ensure proper installation and compaction of asphalt to meet quality control standards.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
• Monitor and inspect work progress, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure project success.
• Maintain records of daily production, materials used, and crew performance.
• Operate heavy equipment when necessary to support the crew.
