  • Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (6 : 45pm – 7 : 15am)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 21 / 2025 – End : 1 / 20 / 2026)\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 4\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
  • Float : May float to similar units as needed\n
  • Charting System : Epic EMR\n
  • Scrub Color : Royal Blue\n
  • Parking : Free on-site parking\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1470–$1570\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (required for South Carolina healthcare jobs)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Stepdown or Cardiac Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)\n
  • BLS and NIHSS certifications required\n
  • ACLS and CPI certifications preferred\n
  • Epic charting experience required\n
  • Telemetry competency and Cardiac Telemetry experience required\n
  • Previous charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred\n
  • Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)\n
  • First-time travel nurses accepted\n

    • \n\nCardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiac Stepdown unit\n
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage cardiac drips (no titration), and respond to dysrhythmias\n
  • Administer blood products, IV insulin protocols, and care for ventilated patients\n
  • Perform central and peripheral line management, wound care, and tracheostomy management\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services\n
  • Float to similar units as needed to meet facility requirements\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR\n
  • Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)\n
