Environmental Service Technician

Available Shifts : First, second, and third. Every other weekend and rotating holidays are required for all positions. Full time and part time opportunities available.

Clean and supply patient rooms, removal of soiled linen units, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, common areas, floors, public bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with hospital objectives.

• Floor care : dry and wet mop floors, buff floors with buffing machine, burnish floors with burnishing machine
• Refuse removal : collect and transport trash, remove soiled linen and red waste (according to Main Line Health standards)
• Facility cleaning : wash walls, hang cubicle curtains, clean stairwells and perform any other assigned project as
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to patients, visitors and co-workers. Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report any machine malfunctions.
• Observe and report need for repairs of hospital equipment, furniture, fixtures, etc.
