Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine Physician!

Are you ready to enhance your career while making a meaningful impact? As a Post-Acute Telemedicine Physician at Sound Physicians, you’ll provide remote care for patients in post-acute facilities like nursing homes. Your expertise will help prevent unnecessary hospital visits, all from the comfort of your home!

Team Collaboration :

  • Join a cohesive team of 50 dedicated physicians.
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds in hospital-based, outpatient, and post-acute care.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) and at least three years of hospital experience.
  • Minimum Compact / IMLCC qualification with 4 or more active state medical licenses, ideally in CA, NY, FL, MA, CT, MD, VA, NJ, PA, NC, and SC.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior telemedicine experience is a plus.
  • Experience in post-acute or skilled nursing facility (SNF) care is welcomed.
  • Preference for candidates with a California medical license and multiple additional state licenses.

  • Full-time opportunity requiring a minimum of 120 hours monthly.
  • Receive your schedule in advance to balance other commitments, with team support during absences.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complexities of patient care in post-acute environments.
  • Engage in cross-coverage cases via telemedicine to ensure continuity of care.
  • Be available for after-hours shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss practice updates.
  • Receive comprehensive training on technology protocols, workflows, and EMR systems.
