Title : Nurse Manager of Critical Care (Medical ICU)
Salary : $85,000 – $128,000 / year (based on experience)
Schedule : Full-Time, Days
Location : Dallas, TX
Position Summary :
A leading acute care hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee the Medical ICU. This individual will provide operational and clinical leadership, ensuring patient-centered, high-quality care while fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment. The Nurse Manager will manage staffing, workflow, and performance within the unit, aligning with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, and direct ICU operations and nursing care
- Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to optimize patient care and safety
- Develop policies, procedures, and programs to enhance quality, efficiency, and outcomes
- Lead, coach, and mentor ICU staff, promoting engagement and professional growth
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality metrics, and patient care protocols
- Monitor staffing, budget, and resource allocation within the ICU
Qualifications :
2+ years of recent critical care leadership experience (ICU preferred)Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; advanced degree preferredCurrent RN license in Texas (or compact license)BLS and ACLS certificationCCRN and / or CNRN preferredUnit Snapshot :
