What We Need

The dynamic and flexible Human Resources Coordinator will assist in the fulfillment of LIPA's mission by providing administrative, analytical, and technical support to the human resources function.
Other Essential Job Functions include :
Prepare and review various materials using the substantive information providedMaintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentationMaintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and recordsPerform periodic reviews of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriatelyAct as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendorsAssist with new hire orientationExecute benefit enrollments, changes, updates, and terminations under the supervision of the Human Resources ManagerAssist with planning and execution of special eventsEnsure timely and accurate submission of timekeeping recordsCreate, update, and maintain a repository of employee formsDevelop procedures documenting HR and Administration functionsRespond to standard requests for employee records based on established guidelinesAnswer basic employee questions regarding human resources and LIPA policies and offeringsAssist implementation of new training, development, and other related initiativesProvide administrative support to the HR departmentPerform other duties as assignedSalary Range : $58,000 to $70,000
