job_description.job_card.job_descriptionInspect infrastructure and construction projects for compliance with specifications Use measuring tools to verify materials, line, and grade accuracy Maintain accurate records and update project documentation using electronic reporting software Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and city staff to keep projects on track Respond to public inquiries and help address construction-related concerns Work outdoors on projects that improve communities Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project success Apply basic math skills for measurements and estimations Learn and utilize construction, surveying, or CAD software as needed Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail in all tasks Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Good communication skills for interacting with project managers, contractors, and the public Basic math skills for measurements and estimations Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Experience with construction, surveying, or CAD software is a plus, but not required
