CNC Swiss Lathe Setup and Operations Specialist

Step onto the production floor at Regal Rexnord Cleveland and start your day by preparing a Swiss-type cell for a new run. You’ll review prints and operation sheets, dial in tooling, verify offsets, and bring a Tsugami or Citizen Swiss lathe online. Throughout your shift, you’ll produce small, high-precision components to tight tolerances, verify features with precision metrology, and make real-time adjustments at the control to keep parts in spec.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss equipment (Tsugami, Citizen) to machine intricate, close-tolerance parts.
• Interpret blueprints / operation drawings and apply GD&T to ensure conformance.
• Leverage experience with Mitsubishi controls to optimize cycle times and quality.
• Use a wide range of measuring tools to inspect components and document results.
• Troubleshoot, adjust tooling and offsets, and make minor G-code / M-code edits as needed.
• Support production changeovers and machine set-ups for repeat runs.
• Collaborate with teammates and follow verbal / written instructions to complete tasks safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives.
