Location : Phoenix, AZPain Management PhysicianOutpatient M-F Schedule - 8am -5pmAs a Pain Management Physician, you will lead patient-centered treatment plans to address chronic pain.This role involves working closely with patients, referring providers, and a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest standard of care.Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized pain management treatment plans for patients with chronic pain conditions.Perform minimally invasive fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided proceduresInjections, epidurals, radiofrequency ablation, nerve blocks, spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulator trialsminimally invasive spinal interventions as appropriate including kyphoplasty, stimulator implants, intrathecal pump implantsminimally invasive lumbar decompression, and minimally invasive sacroiliac joint fusions.Prescribe medications and implement non-pharmacological pain management strategies.Collaborate with physical therapists, behavioral health specialists, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive pain treatment plans.Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary.Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and comply with regulatory guidelines.Ensure compliance with opioid prescribing regulations, pain management protocols, and quality care standards.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay updated on advancements in pain management treatments.Perform other duties as assigned.Background Desired :
MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), or Neurology, or Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine.Valid state medical license (must be active before the first day of employment).Active DEA Registration.Two (2) years clinical practice experience in Pain Management preferred. New fellowship grad applications maybe be considered.Fellowship training in Pain Medicine (Required) - ACGME approved fellowship.Current ACLS certification.2 Professional References.Ability to work collaboratively.Experience in interventional pain management proceduresKnowledge of pharmacological treatments for pain management including opioids, best practices and alternative pain therapiesFamiliarity with chronic disease managementStrong interpersonal and patient communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teamsExperience in Nerve Conduction Studies, preferred.Experience providing primary (longitudinal) care.Contact : Raymond Stiles )
