Responsibilities Work primarily on the Cardiac / Telemetry 4 South unit with occasional floating to Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED / Med-Surg boarders Adult patient population in a hospital Med-Surg environment Night shift from 7 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 30 a.m., 36 hours per week Required to work every other weekend No call responsibilities Uses Epic EMR, proficiency required Primary responsibilities include providing care to Cardiac / Telemetry patients and supporting various Med-Surg units as needed Must be able to pass a Telemetry strip reading skills test on day one; termination will occur if unable to pass Epic EMR experience must be current and will be verified; lack of proficiency may result in termination COVID-19 vaccination is required Only returning travelers from within the last 9 months may be considered for alternative start dates Weekend and holiday coverage may be required as scheduled Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and / or Stepdown experience required Ability to independently and accurately read Telemetry strips; Telemetry competency will be tested on day one Current proficiency and experience with Epic EMR required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-617671.
