Travel RN Job Details – Fayetteville, NC Estimated Weekly Salary : $1660 - $1700 Assignment Type : Locum tenens, Travel RN Healthcare Setting : Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital Unit : Medical / Surgical Telemetry (Med / Surg Tele, 3VPN) Start Date : October 20, 2025 End Date : January 19, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts / week (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Total Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Patient Ratio : 1 : 5-6 Charting System : Epic EMR Scrub Color : Royal blue and white Guaranteed Hours : Up to 2 shift call-offs per 13-week contract; all other contracted hours guaranteed Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (required for North Carolina nursing jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Proficiency with Epic charting system Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Must pass Advanced EKG exam as part of compliance Locals not accepted within 50 miles of main campus Return staff must have a 1-year gap before reapplying Only one contract extension permitted for day shift assignments RN Responsibilities – Med / Surg Telemetry Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a busy Med / Surg Telemetry unit Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR Float to similar medical-surgical or telemetry units as needed Educate patients and families on care plans and health management Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards Join our healthcare team in Fayetteville, NC, and make a difference in patient care.
