As our
Breast Imaging Lead Technologist you are responsible for coordinating daily
clinical operations under the supervision of medical leadership, ensuring
compliance with ACR, MQSA and departmental protocols. This role performs
complex mammography exams using advanced imaging systems, supports
interventional procedures and ensures high diagnostic accuracy and patient
safety. We require a Lead who will perform administrative duties including
staff scheduling, training, inventory management, quality audits, and protocol
development while also supporting patient identification, preparation, and
care. You are expected to maintain
equipment, troubleshoot issues, perform QA tasks and support research and staff
education initiatives. You will be expected to rotate to all radiology sites
staffed by UCLA Health.
Salary
Range : $58.74 - $77.50 Hourly
Qualifications

ARRT (R) (M) Certification -
required
CRT (R) (M) Mammography License -
required
BLS / CPR certification from
American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
At least 5 years of experience in
Breast Imaging - required
At least 1 year of DEXA
experience - preferred
Breast Ultrasound experience -
preferred
Associate's Degree or Higher -
preferred
Proven ability to coordinate
daily workflow and technologist assignments to maintain patient throughput
and imaging quality across multiple sites
Ability to prioritize work,
handling multiple tasks to completion, within the time allotted
Demonstrated experience mentoring
staff and facilitating competency assessments, image audits, and protocol
compliance
Excellent interpersonal skills
effectively and diplomatically with patients, visitors, hospital staff,
physicians, and other
Ability to identify operational
inefficiencies and implement process improvements related to equipment
utilization, exam turnaround time, or regulatory readiness
