Transportation Associate Attorney

Overview

The Houston, TX office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Transportation Practice.

The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in Texas and have at least three (3) years of insurance defense experience handling matters involving heavy trucking / tractor trailer and cargo and freight carriers.

Responsibilities

Draft initial pleadings; respond to discovery; draft and argue motions; take and defend depositions; manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

Admitted to practice in Texas; at least three (3) years of insurance defense experience involving heavy trucking / tractor trailer and cargo and freight carriers; strong writing and analytical skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
