OrthoNebraska is adding a Registered Nurse (RN) to our Pre / Post-Op team!

Mon - Fri :

Four (4) 9-Hour Shifts w / 4-Varied Hours between 5 : 30am - 8 : 30pm

1 - 2 weeks of call per year

Department / Position Details / Duties :

• Performs an initial and ongoing assessment to determine the assigned patient's ongoing nursing care needs
• Develop / reviews / revises and individualizes the plan of care to address the patient's nursing care needs for optimum patient.
• Evaluates patient care to determine response to care / interventions for optimal patient outcome
• Performs technical skills competently and independently to assure patient safety
• Maintains a professional behavior in attitudes, demeanor, interactions to achieve organizations mission
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age / weight of the patients served
• Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements such as OSHA and The Joint Commission.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Attend and participate in department meetings.
• Attend mandatory educational programs.
• Follow established guidelines as stated in hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
