Role Summary :
The Oracle Financial Fusion Cloud Functional Analyst plays a critical role in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules-primarily focused on Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM). This role bridges finance operations and technology, ensuring that business requirements are translated into scalable, compliant, and efficient cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Design & Configuration :
Gather and analyze business requirements across finance functions.
Configure Oracle Fusion Financial modules : General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).
Define Chart of Accounts, ledgers, legal entities, and intercompany setups.
Implementation & Support :
Lead or support end-to-end Oracle Fusion ERP implementations and upgrades.
Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations.
Process Optimization :
Streamline procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), and record-to-report (R2R) cycles.
Recommend best practices for financial close, reconciliations, and reporting.
Testing & Documentation :
Develop functional specifications, test scripts, and user training materials.
Conduct unit testing, UAT, and support cutover activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration :
Liaise with finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, including 2+ years in Fusion Cloud ERP.
Strong understanding of finance processes and Oracle ERP architecture.
Hands-on experience with Fusion modules : GL, AP, AR, FA, CM.
Familiarity with OTBI, FBDI, Smart View, and workflow configurations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle Cloud Reporting Tools (BI Publisher, OTBI).
Knowledge of integration tools (OIC, REST APIs, FBDI).
Exposure to SOX compliance, audit controls, and multi-entity setups.
Oracle Cloud Financials certification.
