Salary Range : $21.00 - $25.50

Sign-On Bonus : $5,000 Available

Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in caring for residents in our long-term care facility. You will provide compassionate, resident-centered care while assisting with daily living activities. Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), you will ensure that the physical and psychological needs of residents are met according to their individualized care plans.

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

  • Offering support with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
  • Monitoring vital signs and documenting interactions and changes in residents' conditions.
  • Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and maintaining cleanliness in living areas.
  • Encouraging residents to participate in wellness and recreational programs.
  • Assisting nursing staff with procedures and reporting any concerns to the charge nurse.
  • Maintaining patient safety and following infection control protocols.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum age of 16; prior nursing assistant experience is beneficial.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or enrollment in a training program to obtain certification.
  • Commitment to completing annual competency testing and continuing education.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required depending on duties.
