Personal Lines Product Analyst
West Bend is seeking a detail-oriented Personal Lines Product Analyst to support the growth and profitability of our Personal Lines products. In this highly collaborative role, you'll conduct market and competitive analysis, perform product development activities, and ensure regulatory compliance. You'll also contribute to training, technical documentation, and system updates in an agile environment. Ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and deep Personal Lines experience, this position blends technical expertise with strategic impact. Be a key contributor in delivering compliant, market-responsive insurance solutions.
Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule (at least 3 days / week) for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events. The position can be based in West Bend, Madison or Appleton.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Works closely with all members of the Personal Lines team to provide support for the profit and growth strategies of the Personal Lines product(s).
- Collaborates with other members of the Product team and with Underwriting management.
- Analyze industry changes for impact on the Personal Lines Product(s).
- Research the rates, coverages, and underwriting position of key competitors and the Personal Lines Market in general. Research form language to ensure compliance with regulatory changes and / or emerging issues in the industry.
- Collaborates with other business functions, such as Actuarial, Sales, Marketing, and Claims to arrive at thorough solutions to broad issues.
- Modifies language in policy forms and notices to comply with regulatory changes and / or emerging issues in the industry.
- Recommend changes to coverages and underwriting position based on the analysis of key competitors and the Personal Lines market in general.
- Assists in the maintenance and analysis of existing data sources and reports.
- Maintain manuals and prepare technical articles and training materials.
- Interacts with State Insurance Departments to gain approval for Product filings.
- Engages with technical resources to complete necessary system-related changes, including the testing of changes within affected systems.
- Interacts with third parties to effectively integrate the products and services that support Personal Lines. Provide underwriting requirements for development of application / policy systems.
- Provide technical training for underwriters for new and existing products and services.
- Mentor other Product Specialists.
Preferred Experience and Skills

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge / skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
