The Role :

We are seeking a highly strategic and operationally driven Program Manager / Chief of Staff to lead and support cross-functional initiatives involving the deployment, optimization, and scaling of Medical Devices technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process management , change enablement , and healthcare technology delivery , ideally within organ transplantation, clinical workflows, or advanced med-tech environments. This role is central to aligning strategy and execution across technical, clinical, and regulatory teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Program & Project Leadership

  • Lead high-impact programs related to the implementation, scaling, and optimization of Medical Devices technology solutions in clinical and hospital environments.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams across engineering, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and IT.
  • Oversee timelines, risk management, resource allocation, and vendor collaboration to ensure successful program execution.

Process Optimization & Governance

  • Analyze and redesign business and clinical workflows related to Medical Devices.
  • Define and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality assurance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish program governance and reporting frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory and clinical compliance standards (e.g., FDA, HIPAA).
  • Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Design and lead change management strategies to support clinical teams, transplant coordinators, and IT departments in adopting new technologies and workflows.
  • Conduct stakeholder assessments, develop communication plans, and manage resistance across transplant centers and health systems.
  • Facilitate training programs, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing to ensure consistent adoption of OCS tools and supporting IT systems.
  • Executive Operations & Strategic Alignment

  • Act as a strategic advisor and operational extension of the VP or C-suite leader overseeing Medical Devices programs.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions, track performance KPIs, and ensure alignment of program execution with company mission and goals.
  • Manage communications, briefings, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders including hospital executives, surgeons, and technology vendors.
  • Qualifications :

    Education & Experience

  • 710+ years of experience in program or project management within healthcare technology, med-tech, or transplant / clinical systems environments.
  • Direct experience with OCS, medical device integration, or organ transplant systems is strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Certifications

  • Expertise in process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma), and familiarity with ITIL or clinical workflow methodologies.
  • Proven experience leading organizational change, preferably with Prosci, ADKAR, or similar certifications.
  • Strong technical literacy in healthcare IT systems, device integration, and data compliance (e.g., HL7, HIPAA, FDA QSR).
  • PMP, CPHIMS, or relevant project / change management certification is a plus.
  • Soft Skills

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate with executive presence, synthesize complex information, and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Mission-driven mindset, with sensitivity to clinical urgency and patient-centered care.
