Data Scientist

Hybrid in Boston, MA or San Diego, CA. Ideally willing to come on site 2-3x / week

In this role, you would :

  • Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to merge data from multiple sources and build robust datasets.
  • Research and develop innovative statistical models to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze data for trends and patterns and provide actionable insights.
  • Leverage claims data, real-world evidence, patient-level data, and product usage to drive market intelligence and enhance consumer experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across functions to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Support the development of KPIs and operational metrics tailored to project requirements.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, tracking progress and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Work with external vendors and partners as needed to support data initiatives.

We’re looking for someone with :

  • High-level SQL and data manipulation skills
  • Experience in statistical analysis and advanced analytics
  • Strong ability to navigate large, structured, and semi-structured datasets
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex findings into actionable business recommendations
  • Familiarity with healthcare datasets, including claims data and patient-level data (experience with medical device or diabetes data is a plus)
  • A self-starter attitude with eagerness to learn and thrive in a growing business
