Staff Nurse [Pre-op / PACU]

SUMMARY : Responsible for the delivery of professional nursing services, which will address the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-appropriate needs of each individual patient / family. Completes patient assessment. Develops and implements individualized plan of care. Performs nursing care and appropriate nursing interventions. Confers with physician regarding changes inpatient condition. Assesses, develops, and implements patient education. Documents activities. Provides care within an assigned unit, and coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

Required Education / Training : Graduate from a nursing program

Required Licensure / Certification / Registration : Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS; ACLS & PALS (within 6 months of hire / transfer)

Preferred Education / Training : BSN; graduate from an accredited nursing program

Preferred Experience : Minimum one (1) year telemetry or critical care experience

Preferred Licensure / Certification / Registration : Post Anesthesia Care (CPAN); Certified Ambulatory Perianesthsia Nurse (CAPA; Emergency Nurse Pediatric Care (ENPC)
