Position Summary :
A manufacturer of corrugated packaging products is seeking a new Plant Manager to lead its Greater Cincinnati, Ohio site. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels in operational strategy, team development, and continuous improvement.
The Plant Manager will have the following responsibilities :
- Direct all plant functions including production, safety, quality control, and workforce management
- Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards
- Oversee quality assurance systems, address customer concerns, and implement corrective actions
- Lead and mentor department heads, support succession planning, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S methodology, and preventive maintenance programs
- Develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with business goals
- Manage budgets, control costs, and recommend capital investments for equipment and infrastructure
