Works cooperatively with others as part of a team; recognizes the importance of group goals. Performs designated clinical procedures and nonclinical support tasks essential to providing care to the patient. Qualifications Minimum Requirements : Education High school diploma or GED. Actively enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Before starting, candidates must provide : Transcripts showing completion of Fundamentals of Nursing. A competency skills checklist from their nursing school. Nurse Techs must maintain good academic standing throughout employment. Note : This role is only for current nursing students. If a student leaves their program for any reason, they will no longer be eligible for the Nurse Tech position. Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month of hire. Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Prolonged standing and walking during shifts. Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Preferred Qualifications : Experience Prior patient care experience (e.g., EMT, Paramedic, CNA). Certifications Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) — applicable in the state of practice We’re bringing to life a healing ministry through compassionate care.
