job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activity observed during shifts. Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal and / or local authorities as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats within the logistics and distribution environment. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Experience with x-ray screening is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol in Walton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a logistics and distribution location. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
