They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a motivated team focused on fresh produce sales (fruits and vegetables). About the Role
As the Sales Manager, you'll play a key leadership role overseeing a team of four :
- 1 Buyer responsible for sourcing and procurement
- 2 Sales Representatives driving external and internal sales growth
- 1 Customer Service Representative maintaining excellent client communication and satisfaction
You'll coach, train, and mentor your team to reach and exceed goals, while actively building new client relationships within the foodservice and retail produce sectors. Collaboration, leadership, and a proactive approach are critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage your team of 4 to deliver consistent sales performanceDevelop and execute sales strategies to grow the company's produce businessBuild, maintain, and expand relationships with key clients and partnersProvide regular coaching and training to strengthen individual and team performanceWork closely with other departments (operations, QA, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction and quality deliveryUtilize Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables) and Office tools, including Teams, to analyze data and manage communicationWhat We're Looking For
Proven experience in produce sales ideally in the foodservice channel (retail experience also valued)Strong background in sales leadership, managing and developing a small teamExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsProficiency in Excel and Microsoft OfficeQuality assurance or manufacturing exposure is a plusWhat You'll Gain
