Clinical Shift Schedule : 8 10 hours / day in hospital (8a 4 : 30p consults, with diagnostic test reads interspersed; clinic appointments 9a 4p as assigned)

On-Call Shift Schedule : 5p 8a (overnight coverage)

Call Type : Telephone

Call Response Time : 30 minutes

Call Ratio : Shared among multiple providers

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Pennsylvania medical license required (no pending applications)

Board : Board Certified in Cardiology

DEA : Active DEA Certification required

Certifications : ACLS required

Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty

Other Qualifications : Ability to work both inpatient and outpatient, participate in call rotation, and manage cardiology patient load effectively

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform hospital consultations and inpatient rounding

Read cardiology diagnostic tests across multiple systems

Provide outpatient clinic coverage as assigned

Participate in call coverage with 30-minute response time

Evaluate and treat cardiology patients, including admissions during call shifts

Document patient encounters accurately in Epic and Cerner

Collaborate with APP support and hospital staff for coordinated patient care
