Company Description

We’re representing a venture-backed fintech company developing a next-generation consumer finance platform for emerging markets. The company is building a joint virtual banking and cryptocurrency wallet, enabling users across the globe to move seamlessly within a unified financial ecosystem.

This team is small, senior-only, and high-impact, composed of engineers and product leaders from top-tier companies. They are led by founders with successful exits and backed by deep funding to offer top-of-market compensation.

Their mission is bold : rebuild the financial rails for the 3 billion people underserved by traditional systems—leveraging stablecoin infrastructure to redefine cross-border money movement.

What You Will Do

As a Staff iOS Engineer, you’ll take full ownership of architecting and delivering a world-class mobile experience for a new global financial product. You’ll build the iOS app from the ground up, define standards, and ensure the product is fast, secure, and reliable for users across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Architect and develop a high-performance, secure native iOS app using Swift.
  • Define and implement engineering standards and best practices for iOS development.
  • Collaborate closely with backend and design teams to create seamless end-to-end experiences.
  • Optimize app performance for speed, reliability, and offline usage.
  • Play a key role in shaping product direction, technical architecture, and user experience.
  • Potential to evolve into a mobile lead role overseeing iOS, Android, and mobile web platforms.

Ideal Background

  • 5+ years of experience building and shipping consumer-facing iOS applications natively in Swift.
  • Strong understanding of modern iOS architecture, design patterns, and Apple frameworks.
  • Proven experience creating and scaling production apps with exceptional UI / UX quality.
  • Comfortable owning architecture and product decisions in a high-autonomy environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills—able to work cross-functionally across design, backend, and leadership.

    • Preferred

  • Experience building products for Latin American or other emerging markets.
  • Prior work in fintech, payments, or digital banking.
  • Strong product and design sensibility with a focus on intuitive user experiences.
  • Full-stack exposure or comfort working across multiple layers of the stack.
