Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team on a temporary 6-month assignment. This role will support core HR functions including employee relations, onboarding / offboarding, performance management, recruiting coordination, and HR process improvement. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong partnerships with managers and employees, and can quickly adapt to evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & HR Support

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues, performance improvement, and policy interpretation.
  • Support compliance with employment laws and internal company standards.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Manage full onboarding lifecycle, including new-hire setup, background checks, orientation scheduling, and documentation.
  • Ensure a smooth offboarding process, coordinating exit interviews, system deactivations, and final documentation.
  • Partner with IT, Payroll, and Facilities to ensure all onboarding / offboarding tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Recruiting Support

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to post jobs, schedule interviews, and support candidate communication.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure an efficient and positive recruiting experience.
  • Support workforce planning and temporary staffing coordination as needed.
  • HR Operations & Projects

  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Assist with data reporting, HR audits, and compliance tracking.
  • Contribute to process improvements and HR initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR generalist or business partner experience.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking tools (e.g., Workday, ADP, Greenhouse).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
