About the Role

  • Design, implement, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for water and wastewater Pumping stations.
  • Develop control strategies, SCADA programming, and PLC / HMI systems for plant automation.
  • Attend meetings with technical leads.
  • Independently handle I & C work in projects.
  • Design and implement SCADA systems, including DCS, PLCs, and HMIs, for municipal water / wastewater projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems.
  • Be well-versed in instrument selection criteria.
  • Have SCADA system design and implementation experience in process control systems, P&ID development, control system network architecture development, instrumentation and controls design, control strategy development, and network security systems.
  • Have experience with SCADA system commissioning, including troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques to maintain high SCADA system availability.
  • Have working knowledge of PLC and HMI programming functionality and execution.
  • Prepare design basis and space planning for control rooms.
  • Have knowledge of all I & C related deliverables and drawings.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including instrumentation datasheets, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in instrumentation and control within water and wastewater engineering projects.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, and automation of pumping / treatment plants.
  • Strong understanding of control systems, process instrumentation, and field devices.
  • Familiarity with project management and engineering standards in the water / wastewater sector.
