Compensation $100,000+ plus incentives (DOE)

Position Summary

The Director of Business Development leads the development and execution of sales strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market opportunities. This role is responsible for establishing both short- and long-term sales objectives, evaluating the effectiveness of existing programs, and identifying areas for improvement. The Director manages the sales of PMCs services within a defined region or major market area, while also providing hands-on support to drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and ensure the success of broader business development initiatives.

Sales Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and execute sales plans that support short- and long-term growth objectives within assigned regions.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies that drive profitability and expansion across designated market segments.
  • Lead and participate in sales meetings across the country, providing insight and guidance on national goals and regional execution.

Business Development & Prospecting

  • Secure new business accounts through proactive outreach, including prospecting, site visits, and building relationships with management groups and industry partners.
  • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
  • Regularly attend networking events and industry functions to build pipeline and elevate PMCs brand visibility.
  • Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through consistent communication and service reviews.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to contracted clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities to upsell or add services.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with local organizations, community groups, and trade associations to support regional growth.
  • Sales Operations & Execution

  • Monitor sales activities to ensure timely follow-up on contracts, proposals, and lead inquiries.
  • Support internal departments in the execution of company initiatives and new business launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales efforts are aligned with PMCs overall strategy and market positioning.
  • Travel & Territory Oversight

  • Travel within the assigned region on a rotating basis, with up to 50% travel required for new account launches, client support, and prospecting.
  • Be available to respond to regional challenges and support successful program implementation and account health.
  • Additional Responsibilities Other tasks may be assigned as needed to support the companys overall operational and financial objectives, with the expectation that the management remains flexible and responsive to evolving business needs. Attend required staff meetings and complete assigned training modules in a timely manner. Including but not limited to the ability to work flexible hours when needed, particularly during financial close periods and occasional travel for financial reviews, audits, or corporate meetings. May be required.

  • Requirements and Experience Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of sales experience; OR
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality, healthcare, or parking industry.
  • Technical Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team-building abilities and the capacity to motivate others.

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently when needed.
  • Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Valid in-state drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass PMCs background check and drug screening requirements.
  • Cell Phone Use

    Employees may be required to use personal cell phones for work-related communication, including coordination with team members, managers, and clients, as well as accessing work applications. Reimbursement for work-related phone usage will follow company policy.

    Physical Demands

    Requirements may include extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to lift moderate weights when necessary. Specific vision abilitiesclose, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustmentsmay be required to ensure on-site awareness and safety.
