POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Support Specialist is responsible for preparing, scanning, indexing, maintaining digital copies and quality control of all work travelers, certs, training document etc. This should be done in a timely and efficient manner. The Quality Assurance Support Specialist should be highly organized with the ability to track and follow-up on multiple tasks simultaneously. The Quality Assurance Support Specialist helps maintain an efficient record filing system that supports accessibility and accuracy.

JOB DUTIES

• Document preparation tasks such as removing staples, paper clips, and other bindings, unfolding pages, getting them set up to be scanned, and keeping them in the order they are packed.
• Review incoming documents for clarity, legibility, and completeness prior to scanning for quality control purposes.
• Prepare documents for scanning / verification by sorting according to job numbers.
• Verify scanned files against original documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Operate and maintain scanning machines to capture high-quality digital images.
• Good attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required.
• Index and categorize scanned documents for accurate retrieval within the document management system. Track, scan and index documents, and file them for storage.
• Maintain work area in a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
• Assist co-workers in retrieving documents that have been scanned by using both the computer system and the filing system.
