Overview (Scope of Role)
The Technical Service and Development (TS&D) Specialist, Paper & Board role will be based in Midland, MI. The TS&D Specialist provides support and expertise for the paper and board market in North America to strategic customer partners. The role will be focused on solution development in the area of sustainable packaging with paper and board materials as a growing application and market segment. The specialist will manage the relationship with new and existing customers serving as the technical focal point for the organization as well as assist on special projects internally. Support of heritage business in the area of graphical and specialty papers is also in scope. This is an onsite role based in Midland, MI that would require at 20-40% travel domestically with a small portion of international travel to internal sites in Europe to be expected.

Is a go-to expert for technical questions in the area of Paper and Board (application needs and properties, formulation, rheology, coating, drying, and converting processes).
