Pharmacy Technician

Education : High school or equivalent; Certificate from a pharmacy technician program preferred but not required.

Experience : One (1) year experience as a pharmacy technician.

Skills and Abilities which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position :

• Good customer service and teamwork skills.
• Good computer and typing skills.
• Knowledge of filing procedures and activities of Pharmacy service.
• Knowledge of the Pharmacy software system, Windows, Excel.
• Good telephone skills.
• Ability to always maintain a professional attitude and demeanor.
• Good verbal communication skills
• Fluent in Spanish particularly in the areas of Speaking, Reading and Writing is a plus, but not required.

Residency and Transportation Requirement : Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile with insurance coverage as required by the State of Missouri.

License(s) / Certification(s) Required : Pharmacy Technician Certificate preferred, but not required.
