The Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) seeks to fill an ECSE / Section 619 Coordinator. This full-time permanent position is based in Olympia, Washington. This position may be eligible for partial to near full-time telework. Telework is a combination of in-building and off-site days. About OSPI OSPI oversees public K–12 education in Washington state, working with 295 public school districts and 7 state-tribal education compact schools to allocate funding, provide tools, resources, and technical assistance to ensure a high-quality public education for every student.

Position Overview
This is an ECSE / Section 619 Coordinator in the Program Improvement unit within the Special Education division. The role ensures that school districts have the fiscal and human resources needed to maintain early childhood special education elements of state and federal laws and regulations. The position collaborates with the Fiscal and Data Management unit on behalf of local districts and focuses on :
This position also provides consultation and technical assistance related to early learning and systems analysis to the Washington Integrated System of Monitoring (WISM) work group for integrated special education monitoring services statewide.

Compensation
The annual compensation is $80,870 - $95,147 per year and depends on experience and qualifications. Geographic differentials may apply based on work location. OSPI offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, retirement, and an optional deferred compensation program.
