Job Summary : The Facilities Services Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of Hoskinson Contracting’s facilities, including the contracting warehouse and related spaces. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and well-stocked environment by performing routine cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, and coordinating with vendors for facility needs. The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is an EVENING SHIFT from 4 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM Monday to Friday.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing of common areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and offices.

Monitor and restock inventory of cleaning and sanitation supplies.

Order janitorial and facility supplies as needed, maintaining inventory levels.

Remove trash, recyclables, and waste from facility areas and dispose of them according to procedures.

Clean and maintain outdoor areas including walkways, entrances, and loading docks.

Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and report maintenance needs.

Assist with minor facility maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or patching surfaces.

Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized cleaning services or facility repairs.

Report any damage or safety concerns to the Warehouse Manager.

Maintain cleaning logs and comply with internal safety and sanitation standards.

Support event or meeting setups and clean-up when needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Education / Certifications / Licenses

Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Certifications : OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.

Licenses : Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Experience

1-3 years experience in custodial, janitorial, or facility maintenance roles preferred.

Familiarity with industrial cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment is a plus.

Required Skills / Abilities

Ability to work independently and follow routine schedules.

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.

Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and move materials.

Basic organization and time management skills.

Clear communication skills for coordinating with vendors and staff.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

Physical Demands

Light to Medium Work. Exerting up to 11 - 50 pounds occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects

Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers

Capable of driving a vehicle

Working Environment

Work primarily in a warehouse environment, occasionally outdoors for field repairs

May be exposed to noise, fumes, and varying temperatures

Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs
