We are seeking a meticulous Document Prep Specialist in Jessup, MD 20794. This is a 6‑month contract, temp‑only role with a pay rate of $17.70 / hr . If you take pride in precision, enjoy working in structured and organized environments, and are comfortable performing detailed, seated or sit / stand tasks, this role offers the stability and clarity you want. You’ll help ensure that every document is review‑ready for imaging and archiving, maintaining sequence, quality, and efficiency throughout the process.

Job Description

• Review and prepare documents one carton at a time : remove staples, paper clips, or other fasteners; straighten bent or folded pages, ensuring each document lays flat and is returned to its original order.
• Perform tasks primarily while seated (or sit / stand as needed), using upper extremities frequently and occasionally reaching to handle materials.
• Read and understand detailed instructions; maintain focused attention on the task at hand to ensure consistently accurate document processing.
• Collaborate with the Record Center Coordinator and Imaging Production Specialist to preserve document flow, order, and integrity.
• Maintain a professional appearance and work in a clean, organized manner; attire must be presentable and suitable for the work environment.
