Responsibilities Position is in an acute care setting within the General X-Ray / CT department Performs general CT and X-ray imaging with no CT-guided or interventional radiology procedures Supports ER, OR, Med Surg, and PACU areas as needed Department features 2 X-ray rooms, 1 CT room, 2 portable units, and 2 c-arms Equipment includes Shimadzu X-ray rooms, GE c-arms, Fugi and Shimadzu portable units, and a Siemens 64-slice CT scanner Makes use of Epic and Novarad-PACS with CRTIS for tele-radiology reporting Shifts rotate between days (7 : 00am–3 : 30pm or 9 : 30am–6 : 00pm) and evenings (2 : 00pm–10 : 30pm) every other week Potential coverage every third weekend and possible holiday shifts based on manager evaluation and experience Weekend weekend case load averages 10 studies per day; weekday case load averages 40 studies per day Minimal Epic training and department orientation provided during the first week Role involves handling a broad mix of CT and X-ray studies and supporting patient care across multiple hospital units Tele-radiology services are available 24 / 7; in-house radiologist is not required Scrubs in wine color are preferred, but any clean, solid, professional scrubs are acceptable if wine is unavailable Typically, first week includes day shifts for orientation regardless of contracted schedule Call rotation for weekends may be required as part of coverage Requirements ARRT and BLS certifications required Minimum of 1 year experience in CT and general X-ray imaging Experience with Siemens CT scanners and portable X-ray equipment is required Ability to work independently and be comfortable transferring patients Familiarity with Epic and Novarad-PACS is preferred Must be comfortable administering contrast; starting IVs is not required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-589282.
