Summary
The tool room team member controls the ordering of tooling and other tool room stock through the use of Kanbans. Performs other tasks as directed by Engineering, Area Leader or Management. Ability to communicate well with Team Members, Area Leaders, and Management. Ability to communicate well with team members (Safety, Delivery & Cost)

Education / Experience : One-year certificate from college or technical school, or six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively after groups of customers or team members of an organization. Ability to complete quality production and operational forms.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member is occasionally required to stand and use hands, walk, bend, lift, or twist. The team member frequently is required to reach with their hands and arms. The team member is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The team member must occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds. The team member must be able to lift a container of fasteners weighing up to 25 to 50 pounds regularly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
