Who We’re Looking For

  • Ages 46–65
  • English is NOT your first language
  • Living in the Western Region of the United States, or residing in another region but have lived in the Western region for 5 years or more
  • Must self-identify as one of the following ethnicities : White; Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish; Black or African American; Indigenous (Native American, American Indian, Alaska Native, etc.); West Asian (Middle Eastern, North African, etc.); Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander
  • Owns an Android or iOS phone

    • Task Overview

  • Record 150 short English prompts using the Appen Mobile app
  • Takes only 2–3 hours
  • One-time project you can do from home

    • Payment

  • $60 for 150 approved recordings
  • At least 90% accuracy (135 prompts) must pass quality checks for payment
  • To earn an additional $20 bonus, you need to complete a session (150 recordings) and submit within the 3-day deadline provided, with 90%+ acceptance rate in quality checks
