Your Role And Responsibilities :
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sales organization and customers for the NEMA products. The Sales Support Specialist will support business growth through technical support to customers, sales units, and other ABB divisions during the pre-and post-sale stages.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For :
- Answer plant, engineering, district office, and customer calls for emails tied to orders, general product related question, and system issues
- Setup and facilitate expedited orders, hot shot shipments and product inspections in coordination with the appropriate department while communicating product design changes to customers and district office for spec on file product
- Create new configurations for new custom design requests and create quotes for motors and mining parts for domestic / international customers, processing shipments and addressing any logistical challenges
- Perform general spec review and work with ATS to complete and process new vendor and customer setup / reactivations and maintain current vendor data and review and approve credits related to customer orders, warranties / concessions and work with all departments to resolve customer related order challenges and issues
- Understand motor specification to locate NEMA crossover product or provide functional replacements for customer review, provide NEMA motor material exception review due to material availability and provide options and coordinate various aspects of the sales order on behalf of the local sales unit
- Lead / facilitate customer calls, setup and run pre-call for data collection between all departments needed to finalize customer request in addition to weekly project tracking conference calls
Qualifications For The Role :
High School Diploma or GED with minimum 2 years relevant experience Required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree with NEMA or electrical motor product background - PreferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ExcelAdditional preferred experience includes : Working knowledge of Baldor's SAP, OMS, VIP4, and other company's electronic tools, Understand manufacturing concepts, processes and Flex-Flow and Lean concepts., Understand international laws, trade compliance, and US export, incoterms and exchange rates and ABB intercompany / international trade and routing practicesCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.ABB is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer for protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities at ABB.
