American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of recent inpatient experience and a doctorate degree.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Inpatient hospital setting working as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Monday through Friday schedule with every other Saturday required, 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm shifts
  • Rotating holiday coverage is required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Use of rehabilitation equipment such as splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment
  • Use of Meditech Expanse EMR is strongly preferred
  • Traveler must provide their own vehicle
  • Responsible for direct patient care and collaboration in developing comprehensive care plans
  • Engage collaboratively with other team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Eight hours of orientation prior to starting clinical duties
  • Dress code and holiday / rotation expectations apply
  • Shift accommodation requests for block or non-standard shifts will not be considered
  • Up to 5 days of requested time off may be submitted for consideration
  • Not open to candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
  • Supervisory references within the past two years are required

  • Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient physical therapy experience required
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Active Massachusetts physical therapy license required if applicable
  • Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
