The Amazon IT Services UX team is looking for a creative thought leader with a strong background in user experience design innovation to understand and define customer experience designs, user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and annotated designs for product management and software development teams.

Key Job Functions

• Manage UX projects and deliverables that are large in scope and complexity autonomously.
• Understand end-to-end customer journeys, friction points, and how your proposed solutions impact users and workflows.
• Choose the right creative process and level of fidelity for design problems.
• Design conceptual wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications, and functional prototypes.
• Understand target users through user research and drive data collection when needed.
• Drive alignment and commitment to design decisions by soliciting, synthesizing, and managing design feedback.

Key Job Responsibilities

This role will support strategic design for an emergent flagship IT product that will empower employees at the world's largest company to do their best work. A strong candidate will have high standards for design quality and relish opportunities to delight customers with creative solutions.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience, experience with UX design of complex workflows, knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature, online portfolio or samples of work on resume demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns.
