HRBP Leader

The HRBP Leader provides strategic HR support that enables the leaders of each business unit to meet their goals and objectives while caring for our associates through sound employment practices. This role works closely with HR subject matter experts to increase employee engagement and company productivity via sound performance management practices, reduce risk to the company as it relates to employment practices, and increase employee retention. This position is also responsible for managing all members of the HR Business Partner team.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manages a team of Business Partners who are responsible for bringing the full array of HR tools and knowledge to the various business units that make up the Bank.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for EVP, SVP and, in some cases, VP level clients in the business unit. Collaborates with HR SMEs as appropriate.
  • Understands HR objectives and measures of success; collaborates with other Business Partners to ensure consistency of messaging of HR strategies within each business unit.
  • Collaborates with other parts of HR to ensure internal clients receive well-communicated, holistic HR solutions to their business needs.
  • Serves as a strategic partner to senior leaders to facilitate HR strategies and services.
  • Understands the business objectives and measures of success of each assigned business unit.
  • Serves as the major conduit of information to the Head of Talent and Business Partnerships and HR specialty areas about the business unit's HR needs.
  • Champions (within HR) the development of HR programs and services that would support the objectives and challenges of the business units.
  • Responsible for concrete deliverables that demonstrate HR's value to the bank to include authoring content and providing timely feedback to HR subject matter experts.
  • Attends key management meetings to better understand dynamics of the business.
