Walk-in Learning Assistant (Part Time)

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY :

The Learning Assistant (LA) supports learners’ academic success and fosters a positive learning environment. The LA will work closely with learners to enhance instruction and provide individualized assistance. As a walk-in Learning Assistant, you will have regular. Scheduled shifts in the Learning Commons and / or Success Center locations. The availability will be Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH / WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION :

The position involves sitting often in an office setting (frequently 34-66%). Constant (67-100%) talking and listening to people in person, viewing a computer screen, and other types of close visual work. Occasional (10-33%) stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Frequent (34-66%) walking, grasping and repetitive motion.
