Multiple Openings – Training Available - 1st shift M-F
In this role, candidates will be working in a cell with both a CNC mill and lathe available. Candidates will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to produce precision parts according to SOP’s and blueprints. This role involves ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities :
- Set up CNC mills and lathes, including loading and unloading materials, installing tools, and configuring machine parameters.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Make necessary adjustments to machines and processes to correct defects and maintain high-quality output.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
- Report any significant deviations or defects to the supervisor and suggest improvements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Continuous improvement highly encouraged
Qualifications :
HS diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is preferred)Experience as a CNC Operator / machinist preferably with a focus on mills and lathes.Experience with CNC set-up and software is a plus.Ability to read and work from blueprints / engineering drawings / SOP’sFamiliarity with measurement tools and quality control techniquesBasic computer skills for programming and machine controlWilling to train candidate that show initiativePay and Benefits

Pay Details : $42,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
