Construction Project Manager — Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant

At Petticoat-Schmitt, you’ll oversee construction projects for water resources and wastewater treatment plants, from planning to execution — leading teams that build infrastructure transforming communities across Florida.
What You’ll Do
Project Leadership
Manage all phases of water and wastewater treatment plant construction, from planning and budgeting to completion.
Oversee project scope, schedule, and cost control.
Lead and coach your team to perform with accountability, communication, and precision.
Financial Oversight
Maintain full profit-and-loss responsibility for assigned projects.
Forecast and manage budgets, identify risks, and pursue opportunities for efficiency and savings.
Team Management
Inspire a culture of safety, clarity, and collaboration across field and office teams.
Train and mentor superintendents, engineers, and foremen to deliver operational excellence.
Risk & Client Management
Anticipate challenges and proactively mitigate risks.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
4+ years of project management experience in civil construction, preferably with water or wastewater treatment plants.
Strong background managing self-performed structural concrete work.
Proven experience with profit / loss accountability.
Proficiency with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HCSS, Procore / Prolog, or similar software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Teams.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
