Licensed Clinical Consultant

A company is looking for a Clinical Consultant Mid Level - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert clinical and strategic leadership for operational teams

Assist with high level clinical reviews, including appeals and peer-to-peer consultations

Collaborate with clinical operations teams on complex cases and educate providers on clinical coding

Required Qualifications

Current, active, and fully non-restricted licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Coding Certification through AHIMA or AAPC

3+ years of clinical practice experience

Experience with CPT / HCPCS / ICD-9 / ICD-10 coding and knowledge of health insurance business

Familiarity with current medical issues and practices
