job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDeliver quality care incorporating Relationship Centered Care principles. Assess and manage patient care needs using critical thinking and nursing theory. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning. Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and health promotion. Manage assignments within Modified Primary Nursing and delegate appropriately. Facilitate Admission Welcome, Bedside Shift Report, Purposeful Hourly Rounding, Medication Reviews, and Discharge Wrap Ups. Respect patient diversity, values, and preferences. Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Initiate service recovery and escalate patient concerns as needed. Practice safe, patient-centered care and identify opportunities for improvement. Engage in quality improvement and evidence-based practice projects. Follow institutional protocols to minimize risks and ensure safety. Document nursing practice accurately in compliance with standards. Perform charge nurse duties when assigned. Coordinate supply usage and escalate resource shortages. Implement cost-effective patient care strategies. Support patient throughput and documentation compliance. Foster a supportive environment for colleagues and patients. Continuously develop clinical competence from novice to expert. Model professional behavior demonstrating empathy and respect. Participate in specialty councils, committees, and unit initiatives. Licensure : Active New York State RN License required. Certifications : BLS, ACLS required. Experience : Minimum 2 years RN experience with 2 years ambulatory outpatient and radiation safety experience. Preferred : EPIC EMR experience highly preferred. Education : BSN preferred; Associate degree considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in BSN program.
