Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Cerner experience and current CO or compact RN licensure for a weekday surgical position.

Responsibilities Hospital Operating Room setting

Assignments may cover circulating, 1st scrub (instrument), and 2nd scrub (assistant) nurse roles depending on experience

Performs surgical procedures including orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, gastroenterology / endoscopy, and interventional pain management

Weekday schedule is available as either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days

Uses Cerner EMR; experience required

Responsible for providing safe, effective, and quality perioperative care throughout all phases of surgery

Works closely with the entire surgical team using a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach

Acts as a liaison between the surgical team and patient families

Provides support, education, and direct care to surgical patients

Requirements Active and current CO or compact RN license

Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

CNOR certification preferred

Experience with gastroenterology / endoscopy lab, as well as orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, and interventional pain management procedures required

Cerner EMR experience required
