Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of both cath lab and EP experience and current ARRT(R) or CCI(RCIS) certification plus BLS and ACLS. Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab with periodic floating to EP unit as needed Caseload per technologist varies based on patient volume Procedures include PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella insertion, balloon pump, monitoring, pacing, and ablation (burn) cases Preferred experience includes tilt table studies, cardioversion, vascular (carotid and peripheral), PFA, and Watchman cases Required equipment experience with Siemens and GE Utilizes Epic and MAC Lab for charting Day shift hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM Weekday and weekend on-call required on a rotational basis; weekend call runs Friday 5 : 00 PM through Monday 7 : 00 AM Hospital-issued scrubs are required First-time travelers are accepted with cath lab and EP experience Previous staff must be separated from the facility system for at least 1 year prior to returning as a traveler All time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application; approval based on facility needs Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted Parking is provided at no cost All staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-Nov) Modules and onboarding are completed prior to start Team structure includes collaboration with other technologists and interdisciplinary staff Requirements Minimum 1 year of cath lab and EP experience required Current ARRT(R) with SCRQSA(R), or CCI(RCIS) with SCRQSA certification required BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only) Radiation badge must be provided by the agency Ability to circulate, monitor, and pace in cath lab and EP procedures Must be able to provide proof of SSN and driver’s license for consideration Experience with Epic and MAC Lab preferred Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the facility due to STEMI call response requirements License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615794.
