CTD Trailers Direct is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily dealership operations, including sales performance, staff leadership, inventory management, customer service, and overall facility excellence. The General Manager will play a critical role in store profitability by coaching a high-performing team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and using our CRM to maximize engagement, follow-up, and sales tracking. This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in building strong relationships with customers and employees alike.
In this role, you will manage and develop the sales team, schedule and review performance, coordinate training, and ensure inventory is staged, documented, and market ready. You will oversee CRM accountability for every customer interaction while maintaining compliance with state titling, tax processing, and documentation requirements. The General Manager will also promote a clean, safe, and organized dealership, serve as the point person for customer concerns, and collaborate with regional leadership on strategy, reporting, and performance goals. Additional operational duties will be assigned as needed to support dealership success.
The ideal General Manager candidate brings at least three years of experience in sales, management, or dealership operations, preferably in the trailer, automotive, or retail industry. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and customer service skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Candidates should be comfortable working indoors and outdoors, lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion, and remaining active on their feet throughout the day. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
